The weekend was a huge success, Andrew had a great birthday weekend, playing horseshoes, putt- putt, a few rounds on the go cart track, relaxing with a few drinks around the campfire and I did nothing but relax & read. The weather was a wee bit chilly for my taste, hubby thought it was great. On Saturday, Steve & Denise's neighbor Barbara & her two daughters,Megan & Kayla came for the weekend. On Sunday Andrew's parents drove up to the campground with a pot of sauce & meats. It still makes me laugh that even when camping the Italians still need their "gravy" on a Sunday. After dinner we had cake for Stew-be ( this weekend we are having family & friends over for a BBQ in his honor)
After Andrew;s parents left and everyone (except me) was getting ready to go play putt putt look what showed up at our campground......
Somehow he got away from his own campsite and just wondered along. Owners were found 10 minute later running up the hill in a frantic search (losing Misty is one of my greatest fears).
Below are a few photos of the weekend fun.

Three Word Sunday
I'm posting my three words early this week cause we are heading Upstate this evening for Andrew's Birthday & 4 days of peace & quiet. The only thing planned for the weekend is an Irish Festival on Sunday other then that I am going to be lazy & just read. We had a ruff week here @ Camp Chaos, little Miss Kenzie is teething. In general she is one of the most happy go lucky babies I have ever had but this week has been ruff on her, running nose, congestion, wanting to be held, not wanting to be held, my heart broke for her.So my three words for this week are: TEETHING"S NO FUN

The internal battle of good and bad, right and wrong , to take or not,has been playing havoc with me over the last few months. Not in any major way but just with my trying to be healthier.
The small "RIGHT" choices I (try) make every day are getting harder to commit to.Have a piece of fruit or have the cookies, water or Soda, the answers should always be obvious but there is always the little devil & Angel sitting on my shoulders battling it out and for the last few months the devil has seem to be winning ever so slightly. I have been playing with the same pounds over and over, losing then then gaining them right back. Then came this past week, on Wednesday night the two on my shoulders were battling it out over whether or not I should go and get weighed in. In my heart I knew it was going to be a bad week between Rachael's Conformation dinner, Mother;s day dinner, Three nights going for Italian Ices with the kids and a few Alcoholic beverages. So the battle raged between the two but in the end good won out and I went to face my weeks demons and as I stepped onto the scale and the leader looked at my numbers she said WOW! I quickly said I know ruff week but I decided instead of beating myself up that I would just "face the music"Learn & grow" Put it all behind me" and get on with a new week. She laughed and said "Hunny If this was a ruff week for you I'd hate to see you on a good week, Congrats your down another 4.6 pounds!!! Yay for me, I'm still not sure how I pulled that off but hopefully I am over the hurdle I have been on and my numbers will keep going down. This I find I have patience for. And speaking of Patience, Awhile ago I had wrote about I wanted to "Have a little more patience with the elders in my life" Well to say that I am failing at that miserably is an understatement! My patience's are really good when it comes tomy weight lose, or this wait for Aislinn or even the kids in my life, from their million questions, getting into the things that they aren't suppose to,tattling on one and other, I take it all in stride but when it comes to my mom, I find myself coming up short, counting to 10 over and over again. I know she is in mourning after the lost of the luv of her life, she is frustrated with her medical conditions, and the fact that she is losing her hearing but how do you help someone who doesn't want to help them self ?
PATIENCE: the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like.

Major Changes & A busy week
A number of months ago I posted this about my hair. Never believing that the wait would go on forever, so I decided to go ahead and cut my hair and donate it. The are many reasons for the decision at this point,
- It was getting to long & out of hand
- It wasn't looking healthy
- I needed a change (it had been almost 3yrs since a cut)
- Lets be honest I could cut it & donate 3 time over before Aislinn comes home
So here is the before
The after
I was able to cut off over 11 inches.
Rachael made her confirmation on Wednesday afternoon, so her and I spent the day together (She asked me to be her sponsor). The day started out with us running to order her a corsage (of course I forgot all about it till the last second) then a relaxing Breakfast, a few errands the it was time for Rachaels hair appt.I had been thinking about it(getting a haircut) for awhile but kept changing my mind right up till the last second. I walked into the salon and had NO intention on having it cut but Rach started to talk to the gal cutting her hair saying I was thinking about cutting it and donating it, one thing lead to another and before I knew it IT WAS DONE! Now don't get me wrong I love it( just taking a bit to get use to.) After our hair appt I ran home to get dressed and then onto manicures &pedicure. We made it home just in time for Rachael to get dress and off to the church. The ceremony was long (over 90 kids)but beautiful, after a few photos it was off to dinner . It was a beautiful day and I was honored to stay up beside Rachael as she was Confirmed. On Thursday we had Michaela's spring concert in which she had a solo part.As the senior girls were called up to receive a rose from the teacher and then she sang I couldn't stop the tear from coming. It was realy nice to see all the girls dresses in the same Burgandy gowns ( I din't get any photos while she was on stage since I still didn't get the new camera) But her is a few photos from the weeks events.- Bishop Dunne, Fr Wood Rachael & I

Today was the baby shower for my sister Kerri Ann. Now after the disaster of her bridal shower last August. I didn't want anything to do with it. We found out in January that she was expecting her first child in July. To say that I didn't handle the new very good is an understatement but I tried for her sake to be happy. Don't get me wrong I am thrilled that her dreams are coming thru. Her shower was held at a small restaurant up the road from our house. It was a nice quiet event. There were only a handful of guest from our side of the family, Besides my mom, sister Jamie and her two girls , my cousin Maureen, her daughter Terri & granddaughter Katilyn, my BFF Siobhans and two munchkins McKay & Rach, and two of my oldest friends Karen & JoAnn. The rest was my BIL family and friends. (speaking of him, he was there and didn't speak to any of us. It really is a shame, he is missing out of sisters & brothers in laws, nieces and a nephew who love Kerri Ann very much). I only took about 30 picture of the event and all of them were from my seat. (I am usally the one taking a 100 photos)
