LET THE WAIT BEGINOMG, I am somewhat in a state of shock. When I got the munchkins down for a nap this afternoon,I jumped on my email to see what was there and in the group of emails was one from my adoption agency stating that we have a LID. 4/26/07
Now for my family and friends that are following along, a LID is the date when you Dossier is logged into the China Center of Adoption Affairs. That is the start of your countdown. As of right now the wait time to referral is greater then 18 months with hushed whispers of it going up to three years.(the 3 years are just rumors) So right now, somewhere in China, is my dossier, along with 25,000 other dossier. All waiting for the same thing, A CHILD.
So let the waiting begin. Whats a little longer.Our dreams of having a family are slowly coming thru.Now I too have a sonogram photo to show the world!
